John Sulston receives knighthood

Dr John Sulston - head of the Sanger Centre at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus just south of Cambridge - is to be knighted for his contribution to genome research. The Sanger Centre has been instrumental in sequencing the human genome, and that of model animals such as the nematode worm. For more information, see the article from BBC News Online.
